Uric acid is one of the common causes of kidney stone and is a byproduct of eating foods bad for kidneys that are high in purines such as meat, seafood, and fish.
Some of the foods which can help significantly in keeping the kidneys healthy include lemons, cherries, apples, strawberries, raspberries, red grapes, cauliflower, cabbage, red bell peppers, onion, garlic, ginger, eggs white etc. One of the best ways to improve kidney function is to stay well-hydrated.
For some variety, strawberries, cranberries, and raspberries are also foods that are good to eat if you have kidney disease. Garlic: If your body is used to consuming foods plagued with additives such as salt, you might think of switching to a kidney-friendly diet is bland, but it doesn’t have to be.
Olive oil is a healthy source of fat and phosphorus-free, making it a great option for people with kidney disease. Frequently, people with advanced kidney disease have trouble keeping weight on, making healthy, high calorie foods like olive oil important.
