1. Fruit or vegetable coloring page from Happiness is Homemade. Not only is this adorable coloring page for print at Happiness is Homemade, but the blogger has a printable eating chart too, encouraging kids to eat their fruits and veggies!
2. Nutrition Education Store free printable coloring page of MyPlate. Since I’m a big fan of the Choose MyPlate portion plate model for balanced eating, I’m definitely a fan of this MyPlate coloring page!
3. Make a salad coloring page. Crayola has this cute coloring page where you can cut out the salad ingredients and “make your own salad”
4. Nutrition plate coloring page. This was an image I had made almost 10 years ago for the first draft of our nutrition plate we sell now. I still love this image, and it makes such a cute coloring page, with my favorite character I call, Strawberry guy!
5. Eat the Rainbow, Hudson Valley Seed (source) This cute page will encourage kids to eat the rainbow! Different color fruits and veggies have different nutrients, so it’s super important to eat from all the sub-groups of colors.
6. The Very Hungry Caterpillar. I love combining healthy lessons with children’s books, like the Very Hungry Caterpillar. So, this coloring page would perfectly match a lesson with that adorable kids book.
7. Nourish Interactive bowl of fruit. If you haven’t been to the website, Nourish Interactive, you’re missing out. It’s FULL of nutrition resources for kids including coloring pages, games, and worksheets.
8. SuperKids National Nutrition Month Kitchen scene. Another great resource for nutrition printables is Super Kids Nutrition. This coloring page was created for national nutrition month a few years back.
